About the Miami Finance Forum

The Miami Finance Forum is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to establish South Florida as a global financial hub while supporting the growth of South Florida’s network of finance and investment professionals. It is dedicated to expand the knowledge base and professional practices of its members while ensuring the region continues to attract and retain top talent. Its membership roster is comprised of leading professionals experienced in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, commercial banking, investment banking, wealth management, legal, accounting and other related professional-services industries. Since its founding in 2006, the MFF has been known for its event series, including its panel discussions, private roundtables, and happy hour mixers. Through its events, the MFF aims to promote networking contact among industry professionals, to provide its members with educational and career development opportunities, and to create a forum for the general advancement of South Florida as a leading global financial marketplace.

Breakfast Panel Discussions

The Miami Finance Forum conducts quarterly breakfast panel discussions covering an array of financial topics and key industry sectors. The goal is to create an environment for our members and guests to meet, network and learn about certain areas of finance and business that may have a specific affect on their business interests. Past breakfast panel discussions have covered topics such as Private Equity and Venture Funding, Hedge Funds, Biotechnology in South Florida, Corporate Due Diligence and General Investment opportunities.

Event Attendees

Attendees come from the world of finance, banking, private equity, venture funding and financial services and general business. We are also fortunate to have substantial attendance from the legal community as well as several other key industry sectors. We usually draw about 100-150 at events.

Benefits of sponsorship

The Miami Finance Forum staff will assist in creation of invitations, managing attendee database and handling RSVP’s. Sponsors receive the following:

  • Creation of agenda and panel topics
  • Choice of speakers and moderator
  • Audio-visual (AV) needs
  • Ability to invite clients and business contacts
  • RSVP List
  • Logo placement on all related promotional materials leading up to event
  • Corporate name on all event signage
  • Display table for promotional information
  • Up to 10 complimentary passes to event

Location

While many events take place in The Bankers Club in downtown Miami, we also provide events at other locations and will work with our sponsors to ensure that the locations meet our sponsors’ needs.

8 a.m.: Panel Discussion and Questions

9:30 a.m.: Conclusion

Cost for Attendees

Cost for attendees is usually $40 prior to event and $50 at the door for the CEO Breakfast. Attendees pay $20 for the networking Happy Hours.
